I believe research and design are intended to work as the brain and the hand do; the brain supplies steady streams of information to the hand and it responds with the appropriate action. My approach to design centers around understanding the relationship between the user, their goals, and their needs. Through analyzing these relationships and strategically balancing what we know, what we can know and what we can build, I work to create solutions that address the right problems.
