Great design isn't magic, it's great process

When I began this program I was enthralled by the field of interactive design. Magic, was the only explanation I had for the experience that I encountered when I visited my favorite websites. But I quickly learned that it wasn't magic at all. I've discovered that process proven design creates great experiences.

Problems come from somewhere

As an aspiring designer, it is my belief that solving problems through design means looking outside of yourself for solutions. Problems are not manufactured, they come from somewhere specific. For that reason, I believe that heuristics and ethnographic observations are tools that can ensure that the right design is achieved and the right problems are addressed.
